Saibre installs a local certificate authority on your device so it can inspect your AI traffic. The private key is generated per device, encrypted with your OS keystore, and never transmitted — unlike Superfish, which shared one key across every machine. Only domains on an allowlist (65+ domains across 20+ apps) are routed through inspection; everything else goes direct. Redaction and detection run entirely on the machine, inspection failures block rather than leak, and saibre doctor lets you verify interception, the CA fingerprint, proxied domains, and firewall state yourself. The page also lists Saibre’s limits, including that certificate-pinned apps are blocked rather than leaked.
