1. What you're agreeing to
These terms cover your use of saibresecurity.com, the Saibre Desktop application for Windows and macOS, and the Saibre for Python package. By installing or using Saibre you accept them. If you're accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you're authorised to do so.
2. Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and run Saibre on the machines covered by your plan. Free covers your own use at no cost, for as long as you want it, on one machine. Premium covers one person on up to three machines. You may not resell Saibre, redistribute the installers, or remove or circumvent its licensing.
Saibre for Python is distributed on PyPI as readable Python source so you can audit it. Reading and auditing that source is expected and encouraged; republishing it as your own product is not.
3. Billing, renewal, and cancellation
- Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe. Introductory first-year pricing applies to the first billing period only; the renewal price is shown on the pricing page next to every plan before you buy.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the stated renewal price until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the self-serve billing portal, and you keep the paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- New paid subscriptions carry a 14-day money-back guarantee. Email us within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full, no explanation required.
- Saibre is sold as a subscription only. There is no perpetual or one-time-purchase licence; any offer claiming otherwise is not from us.
4. Acceptable use
Use Saibre on machines you own or are authorised to administer. Don't use it to intercept other people's traffic without their knowledge and consent, don't use it to break the terms of the AI services you connect to, and don't attempt to disable its protections on a device managed by someone else.
5. What Saibre does not promise
Saibre reduces risk; it does not eliminate it. It detects known and obfuscated prompt-injection and jailbreak attacks — not every possible attack. It masks the secret patterns and the terms you configure — not every conceivable piece of sensitive data. It cannot inspect applications that pin their own certificates, and it cannot reach data that an AI provider's server-side connectors pull directly from your other accounts.
We publish these limits in plain language on /security precisely because you should plan around them. Saibre is one layer of defence, not a replacement for judgement about what you paste into an AI tool.
Any feature labelled beta is provided as-is and may change or break.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Saibre is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to Saibre is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data.
7. Termination
You can stop using Saibre and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, and we'll refund any unused prepaid period unless the breach involved fraud or abuse.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we'll post the updated version here and note the effective date. Continued use after that date means you accept the change.
